Kwok Min grew up on a small farming village in Hong Kong. As a small boy, he had many pets including a duck, a rabbit, and a cat named “Phfee.” Caring for these animals, Kwok Min gained a special appreciation and fascination for nature at an early age. On his frequent trips up the mountains surrounding his village, he often experienced lush forests, singing birds, and flowing streams. These sights and sounds became cherished memories for him, and he longed to capture them in his own photography.
During his education, where he earned a PhD. in Biochemistry from the University of Basel, Switzerland, he further honed his gift of photographic composition while traveling throughout Europe.
In his current photography, he attempts to capture the beauty of nature and wildlife while rekindling his memories of Hong Kong and Switzerland.
